As the country tries to recover from Ferrari winning at Silverstone on Sunday, the other "AC World Championship" got under way at Cheltenham. As I understand it, a player needs five wins in nine rounds to make the knockout. So, today's outlook shapes up like this with nine players having secured a spot in the playoff round. Doug Grimsley is the only North American to make it through and he gets to battle with World Champion Paddy Chapman. Of note: Grimsly beat Chapman in the qualification round.
